ReCelluar AcCELLerates Web Auctions of Cell Phones

ReCellular has expanded its web-based auction platform for wholesale customers. Every month, ReCellular's AcCELLerate auction offers an average of 250,000 call-tested, handsets compatible with GSM, CDMA, TDMA and G3 networks.

The auction will now be expanded with offerings from ReCellular's industry partners, including wireless carriers and original equipment manufacturers, which could add another 250,000 additional handsets per month.

As a result, ReCellular's auction system will offer an average of 500,000 wireless handsets per month, making it one of the largest single sources for pre-owned wireless equipment in the world.

The ReCellular AcCELLerate auction program offers wireless retailers the ability to buy reconditioned phones in lots typically ranging from 25 to 1000 handsets. Auction lots are posted every other Thursday, and offers are due within five days. Phones are shipped to winning bidders 48 hours after payment is received.
