The mailer inviting Verizon users to come into Verizon stores for a private sale that show the BlackBerry Storm has backfired, notes Slash Gear.  Although the mailers did not say that there would be BlackBerry Storms available it has left a lot of customers disappointed and disgruntled.

People who called the toll-free November were told to call back after November 21.

It did however get even more mentions of the BlackBerry Storm in the media.
