Rumor du Jour, Micrsoft Searching for Search on Verizon
Several sources report that Verizon will choose a single source for search on Verizon phones. Both Google and Microsoft are trying to get the coveted spot on Verizon web phones.
Microsoft is offering a sweeter deal with higher ad share than Google who also wanted customer data. Google has been courting Verizon for months.
Do Verizon customers get a choice? They will probably have to circumvent the easy way to search to get the kind of search they want.
Google already has a huge share of search and definitely will dominate the T-Mobile's G1 Android phone.
