300 Million iPhone Apps Downloaded

There have been over  300 million mobile applications downloaded from the iPhone App store in the five months since its launch July 11.

The information was revealed  at the bottom of full-page print advertisements taken out in Friday's editions of the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.

Apple also reports that there are 10,000 apps available through the store.
