Palm Online App Store Opens
Palm opened their online app store this week powered by PocketGear. They sell both Palm OS and Windows Mobile software titles and includes over 1,000 free titles.
There is also a free Palm App store software download. Developer are encouraged to sell their apps although they get a 50% cut compared to Apple Store's 70% cut. This story is getting a lot attention because it has been rumored that Palm will launch and new OS with new products at CES.
Palm's market share has decreased as other smartphones have flooded the market.
