T-Mobile Cancels $18 Handset Upgrade Fee
T-Mobile has stop charging the $18 handset upgrade fee since Wednesday. It applies to all handsets and smartphones including T-Mobile G1.
This fee was noticed when T-Mobile customers bought a new T-Mobile G1 and were charged more than non-T-Mobile customers.
T-Mobile say it's a way of thanking their loyal customers. Some bloggers are suggesting that all carriers end such fees for a very happy new year.
