BlackBerry Bold Boldly Sprinting to Sprint?

The BlackBerry Bold is a powerful smartphone with higher-resolution screen than other BlackBerry Devices, strong Microsoft Office support and a QWERTY keyboard.

Engadget leaked s rumor that Sprint will offer a CDMA version of the BlackBerry Bold, code-named Niagara with EV-DO Rev.A 3G capabilities. The new Bold, Niagara is expected to launched in the first quarter of this year. It will have a specialized user-interface and most likely have international access like the BlackBerry Storm.

They call it their "Fun Rumor du Jour." 

An internal document that was leaked last month showed that RIM would offer an enhance Bold with browsers/media player, GPS, 1G on-board, microSD and 3.2 megapixel camera.

The BlackBerry Bold appeared on many top best hottest coolest smartphone lists and came in second place in Wireless and Mobile News Review of Reviews of the Hottest Best Coolest Smartphones of 2008.

The BlackBerry Bold has one of the fastest data rates of any smartphone.
