Joey Reiman, CEO and founder of The Bright House, gave us permission to pulish his BlackBerry Ten Commandments that were originally published in Pink Magazine. They are are an excellent starting point for all BlackBerry smartphones. However, we've written our own Ten BlackBerry Storm Commandments which follow.Joey Reiman's Ten BlackBerry Commandments
1. Thou shalt not take the BlackBerry to any table with food on it or family around it. A BlackBerry is not a fruit, nor does it come from a tree.
2. Thou shalt not use the BlackBerry as reading material in the event of insomnia. It will only worsen your situation.
3. Thou shalt not BlackBerry in lieu of responding to a child's request (e.g., "Wait a second, I'm reading something.").
4. Thou shalt not place the BlackBerry within distance of hearing its incessant beeps while at home. It is not a bird.
5. Thou shalt not check BlackBerry as if it were your baby. It will not cry or stop breathing.
6. Thou shalt not confuse number of e-mails with self-worth.
7. Thou shalt do everything possible to misplace your BlackBerry on weekends. "There's No Place Like Home" will never be the tagline for the BlackBerry company.
8. Thou shalt remember that a BlackBerry is not a body appendage. It is a device that belongs in your briefcase or on your desk, and not in social settings.
9. Thou shalt refrain from bringing the BlackBerry to events involving family interaction. Extraneous dialogue with this contraption in lieu of real conversation suggests addiction.
10. Thou shalt never, ever, ever bring the BlackBerry to bed. Do this and you are BlackBuried.
Wireless and Mobile News' BlackBerry Storm Ten Commandments1. Thou shalt not use your BlackBerry Storm outside during a storm, while driving or leave it in the car during really hot or cold weather.
2. Thou shall accept the latest BlackBerry Storm OTA update from Verizon that fixes over thirty bugs.
3. Thou shalt not covet they neighbor's iPhone because the BlackBerry Storm has ten more power features than the iPone.
4. Thou shalt try other web browsers for your BlackBerry Storm such as the BOLT browser which is faster until RIM releases their new browser.
5. Thou shalt also try other options for BlackBerry Internet Service for email such as Funambol which syncs contacts from Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, AOL mail, and Hotmail.
6. Thou shalt download and try the best BlackBerry Storm travel apps from BlackBerry Application World.
7. Thou shalt enjoy fun apps for your BlackBerry Storm such as Light Saber., Storm Piano, Slacker Radio, Pandora Radio and FlyCast Free Radio.
8. Thou shalt download mapping locations apps such Google Maps, WHERE and Poynt search for your BlackBerry Storm.
9. Thou shalt use utiltities such as TalkLock that turns off the screen or QuickPull to free up memory.
10. Thou shalt check for new BlackBerry Storm apps on the Wireless and Mobile News Apps and Accessories page.
