StormU2Concert.jpgBlackBerry smartphones are used for everything from seeing new angles of  the U2 tour to Prez2Go Prayers. While BlackBerry presents the latest U2 260 Tour, the BlackBerry Tour is due out next week  with launch dates officially released by Sprint and Verizon.

BlackBerry has launched a special U2 website which says, "BlackBerry Loves U2.  Introducing the mobile U2 album, watch the teaser."

The teaser has a montage that suggests viewers will be able to view scenes from the upcoming U2 world tour with the flashing phrases, "Watch the tour from all angles."  U2's Bono sings "You know, I'm gonna' go crazy if I don't go crazy tonight!"

There is a direct link to BlackBerry App World which suggests there may be an exclusive BlackBerry U2 app.  Earlier this week, U2 issued a press release. With the Title "U2 360 Tour Presented by BlackBerry." The 360 Tour features a round stage with the band surrounded by the audience, which allowed greater capacity and a lower general ticket price. For the first concert in the tour, in Barcelona Spain, U2 dedicated the song "Angel of Harlem" to Michael Jackson.

"This tour announcement marks the first stage of a relationship and shared vision between RIM and U2 that we expect will lead to new and innovative ways to enhance the mobile music experience on the BlackBerry platform for U2 fans," said U2's manager Paul McGuinness announced earlier this year, when U2 ended its exclusive arrangement with Apple and iTunes.
