LG Wants to Be Number Two and Is Trying Harder with Smartphones

LG the number two cell phone maker wants to be number two and had plans to create some very competitive products according toYonhap News Agency.

In an interview with Ahn Seung-kwon, LG mobile president. LG is planning on working their way into the number two spot in the next three years with production efficiency, and research.

• LG is planning to launch a full features “Black label” series phone to with an enhanced LCD display, Internet access and “pretty” user interface.
  
• LG “Prada” handsets are doing well and they are developing  another Prada handset.
• LG will focus on Windows mobile and Android smartphones with more than ten models.
  
• LG will be venturing into the luxury phone market with an extreme premium brand, in the branding realm of Toyota’s Lexus and Nokia’s Vertu.
