Motorola is amping up its Android efforts, with new faster fuller-featured Android and Droid smartphones this year. Sanjay Jha has teased new models while photos and specs have leaked for summer blockbuster Droid X and Droid 2 Verizon smartphones with HD.
During a speech at the Executives Club of Chicago, last Thursday, Sanjay Jha, Motorola's CEO said that they will launch a 2 GHz Android smartphone by the end of the year.
The new 2 GHZ Android or Droid Moto smartphone would have twice the processing power of the current fastest smartphones running Qualcomm's 1GHz Snapdragon chip is also twice as powerful as the new iPhone 4. The added power can be used for multitasking and remote file access.
Rumors suggest that 2GHz smartphone would run Android, have a
gyroscope like the iPhone 4, and an Nvidia Tegra-based graphics
processor with full Flash 10.1 hardware acceleration. The super 2GHz
Android phone would support 720p video output, with high definition
screen resolution, and a camera with more than 5 megapixel resolution.
There were also reports that new Motorola's Droid phones will be sold
by Verizon Wireless, this summer. The Droid X
with Android 2.1 will have a new version of MOTOBLUR is expected to
launch in July. It supposedly has the biggest screen around a 4.3
inchFWVGA (854×480) touchscreen, a 720 MHz Texas Instruments OMAP 3630
processor, 8-megapixel camera (720p video recordable) and HDMI
video-out port which will allegedly offer 1080p support. Droid X features
a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 8 megapixel camera.
Droid X also supposedly include 8 GB of internal storage and
be bundled with an 8 GB microSD memory card.
Android 2.2
Droid 2 is expected to be released in July.

A blog about android.. I always love to read any information regarding andriod o/s whether it runs on motorola or any other device. I am always ready to support google for the product.
