Android Galaxy News: Samsung Fascinate to Fascinate Verizon Galaxy

SamsungGalaxys.jpgVerizon announced that it is joining the Samsung Galaxy galaxy, with the Samsung Fascinate, a Galaxy S smartphone, powered by Android 2.1. The screen size is bigger than the Droid Incredible but smaller than the Droid X, it has a  four-inch multi-touch AMOLED display. Features include Wi-Fi, Stereo Bluetooth, 5 megapixel camera, email sync and calendar/contact integration "Social Hub."

The Samsung Fascinate has a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor, full HTML Browser, 3G  mobile hotspot, an integrated social networking/messaging six-axis sensor. The virtual QWERTY keyboard features Swype. The Samsung Fascinate comes with 2GB internal memory expandable to 32GB,with a 16GB microSD.

The AllShare Application enables inter-device connectivity through Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), so users can send multimedia content wirelessly to other DLNA-enabled devices such as TVs and laptops There is also the Write and Go to take notes memo, to send or post to popular SNS sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.

No date has been set for the release of the Samsung Fascinate on Verizon other Samsung Galaxy Android smartphones are the Samsung Captivate from AT&T and Samsung Vibrant from T-Mobile.
