A sneak peak of the
BlackBerry 9780 that looks lik the the
BlackBerry 9700 Bold with a darker chrome bezel, with some calling it the
BlackBerry Atlas, BlackBerry Onynx or Bold 2. The
BlackBerry 9780 is expected to have
BlackBerry OS 6 (with a WebKit browser),512 megabytes of memory and a 5 megapixel camera.
This non-touchscreen
BlackBerry 9780 is also expected to have a 480 x 360 screen and come from a GSM carrier.
Some reports suggest a summer release and that this handset will come
with 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and and a trackpad. Like all BlackBerry
smarpthones, the QWERTY keyboard is great for email and texting.
The naming of
BlackBerry smartphones has gotten a bit confusing because Verizon originally was going to call the
well-reviewed BlackBerry Bold 9650 the
BlackBerry Tour2, and instead they named it he
BlackBerry Bold 9650.
