It's déjà vu all over again with the launch of another iPhone. iPhone 4S buyers waited in line early in the morning and Apple and carrier stores. New iPhones require activation from iTunes and well activation are very slow and busy.

There appears to be an issue associated with Apple servers. We've heard this story before with every other iPhone launches. There also appears to be an AT&T activation overload.

Verizon Wireless Mobile Unitied Communcations Dock

Verizon Wireless has a new service for fixed-mobile convergence or mobile unified communications. The Verizon system "Verizon Mobile Unified Communications Docking Station" won the Laptop Magazine Best Enterprise award at CTIA Wireless and Applications in San Diego. It allows Android smartphones to dock at the office and work like an office phone when away from the office.

There is a PBX style corded hanset with a dial pad, called the "Mobile Unified Communications Docking Station" for the office desk that docks and charges Android an' Droid smartphones from Verizon Wireless.

Employees can use their Android phone as their desk phone and have PBX functionality away from the office. Verizon's Mobile Unified Communications Client ($7 per user per month) gives employees the ability to dial extensions, access office contacts/voicemails and set up conference calls.

Samsung Stratosphere Sale Verizon Wireless newest 4G LTE smartphone, the Samsung Stratosphere with a QWERTY keyboard just went on sale and it already back0rdered and discounted to the amazingly low price of 1¢ during Amazon's Verizon Penny Pincher sale that ends October 17 at 11:59 PDT. You'll have to wait because the Samsung Stratosphere is backordered and will ship in one to two weeks.

Meanwhile, Wirefly is selling the Samsung Stratosphere at the lowest price for new customers with contract.

The Samsung Stratosphere's most coveted aspects are the QWERTY keyboard and business features. The video announcer says that it offers all the features of a Galaxy S phone and voice-to-text. A demonstration video follows.
