You don't have to sign a contract, and can upgrade your data plan at any time. Each plan delivers 4G service with download speeds of up to 10Mbps and upload speeds of up to 1.5Mbps.

Samsung Galaxy NexusLeaked information from reported the Sprint product development division suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be released on April 15  on a Sunday.

The 4G LTE enabled Samsung Galaxy Nexus will not ship with 4G LTE enabled, by default it will connect to 3G.  At launch Sprint is only expected to have 200 LTE cell sites live.  The auto 4G LTE mode is likely to be enabled via an Over-the-Air update.

April 15 along with Tax day is also the day when many  EVO 4G owners will be eligible for an update.

Angry BirdsNew research shows that mobile in-app ads can make for more than Angry Birds, but angry owners because they can can cause security risks, data use and battery drain.

Research from North Carolina State University showed that ads in Android apps are risky business for privacy and security.  The apps can gain root access, track users' locations through GPS , phone call logs, contacts and apps stored on the device.

Research from Purdue University in Indiana  revealed that free apps drain batteries faster because  75% of an app's energy consumption was spent on powering advertisements. This research looked at popular apps such as Angry Birds and Facebook running on Android and Windows Phones.

30 million Kindle eReaders will be sold in 2012 and 12 million Kindle Fires. Amazon’s ebook sales are expected to be $6.2 million this year, up 176% from 2011.  Amazon’s eReader revenue contribution is actually materially greater than its Tablet revenue contribution for the foreseeable future, noted the report.
