Samsung Galaxy Nexus Sprint Release Date 4/22

Sprint Galaxy NexusThe Samsung Galaxy Nexus  on the Sprint network is now available for preorder and will be released on April 22, Sunday.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will connect to Sprint's 4G LTE network when it goes live in the middle of this year. When there is not LTE network available it connects to a 3G network It is priced at $199.99 after a rebate.  Sprint is the only major network to still offer unlimited data plans.

The best thing about the pure Google experience is that you will get Android updates very quickly and don't have to wait for Android 4.0 ICS because it comes already loaded.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich adds some features such as Android Beam, Face Unlock, a new UI and improved camera (see all features and video).  Sprint is the first carrier to offer Google Wallet with NFC in the United States.

Features of the Galaxy Nexus LTE  include a 4.65" Super AMOLED touchscreen, 16GB internal storage, front-facing camera, 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth , dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 32 GB storage onboard, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) NFC, Google Wallet and 4G LTE access in LTE markets.

Sprint plans on LTE service in  Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio by mid-year 2012.
