VZW Double 4G Data Dead 6/5 B4 Droid Incredible 4G LTE, Galaxy S III & Fighter

Double Data EndsVerizon Wireless will end its double 4G LTE data deal on June 5 before the releases of the Droid incredible 4G LTE, Samsung Galaxy S III and Droid Fighter.  The news was released through a Wirefly banner ad telling buyers to hurry because the deal will end.

The double 4G LTE data deal is $30 for 4GB, $50 for 10GB and $80 for 20GB. Following the end it will apparently be half the data for the same prices until the next round of data plan changes at Verizon Wireless.

This most likely is in anticipation of shared data plans coming this summer that will also and the grandfathering of smartphone users' unlimited data when you purchase a new smartphone.  If you pay full price for the smartphone and don't have to buy a new contract, the unlimited data will be grandfathered according to Verizon spokeswoman Brenda Raney.

New releases we know that are coming to the Verizon network are the Droid Incredible 4G LTE, the elusive Droid Fighter and the Samsung Galaxy S III.  With the sunset of the double data deal and faster devices, users will have to limit their data or pay up.

The latest rumors about the Droid Incredible 4G LTE suggest a "soon" release date because the model appeared on the Verizon's TestMan website which is done before the actual site launches, this model may or may not make it to the double deal arena, before it closes.

Verizon Wireless is currently running Father's Day and Grad deals that still qualify for the double data.
