Meanwhile, the Samsung Genome Project that connects players to Olympic team has one more entry period that ends in September with a grand prize of a trip for two (2) to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to attend the 2016 Olympic Games or a check for  $20,000.  To enter, go to the Samsung Mobile USA facebook page.

  1. I couldn't believe how many athletes were carryinng cameras and cell phones during the parade. The next thing you know Queen Elizabeth will be seen with a Samsung Galaxy S III posting updates to Twitter and Facebook. "OMG GB team R8s!" "BFF 007 loves Sir Paul 2." "G8 Firewrx." "Prince Phil says hi."

  2. How about this? An Olympic athlete while texting on a Samsung Galaxy S III falls, gets injured then can't compete, Tweets "OMG WTF SG S3"

  3. Actually I think it's nice that the volunteers received a Samsung Galaxy Note, they had to stand there for hours holding hands and beating drums. I especially think those girls with the country titles on their heads, deserve a free chiropratic treatment and a Samsung Galaxy S3 with cell phone service for a year with unlimited data.

  4. Everyone who attends the games and watches it on TV should get a free Samsung Galaxy S III too!

  5. The opening ceremony was too long. Maybe if they stopped looking at their phones, it would have gone faster. 🙂

  6. I think I prefer the big screen for watching events, so that you can see the muscles move. I like mobile apps to find out the scores and who wins before the event on NBC.

  7. I own a Samsung Galaxy S III the don't subscribe to cable. I can't get streaming NBC coverage in the US. Samsung should work the deal with NBC or the BBC so that Samsung Galaxy owners could stream Olympic videos.

However I still love the big screen.
