JPL Curiosity Mars Rover Glamour Shot Close-Up with Samsung Galaxy Note

Curiosity JPL Galaxy NoteWiMo News was privileged to be on JPL campus where there is a clone of the Curiosity rover currently on Mars. This working model is kept on site to demonstrate actions to help engineers diagnose problems should they arise.

This photo was taken with a Samsung Galaxy Note.  As our readers know, I am working on getting so proficient with the Samsung Galaxy Note that I will write and publish an entire article using only a Samsung  Note and S Pen. Is the S Pen mightier than the keyboard? Stay tuned.

So far, we shown you how the handwriting to text works,  Samsung Galaxy Note videos of demos of software/new LED technology and how its size compares to the Samsung Galaxy S III.  This a demonstration of the camera of the phablet that appeared in the Olympics Opening Ceremonies and is touted by David Beckham.

For those of you wondering about the Mohawk Guy and how Jet Propulsion Lab engineers dress, most dress like the rest of Southern California in jeans and T-shirts.  Bobak Ferdowsi is the most extreme, I have seen some great looking high-heeled boots on the women and a fuchsia/sometimes purple-haired cosmologist I don't mean cosmetologist either.

  1. Great photo I like the way the color of your website and logo matches the color of the red planet. Was that indoors or outdoors?

  2. I don't understand where people got the idea that engineers are supposed to look old, stuffy and fat. Nowadays its cool, hip and rad to be an engineer and we dress the way we like.

  3. Can anyone go look at Curiosity? I would love to go in person it's out in Pasadena, right?
