Droid RAZR MAXX HD Explodes Where Others Fail?

Posted on 10/18/2012 by Lynn Walford

Droid RAZR HD COMMVerizon Wireless launched the Droid RAZR HD and Droid RAZR MAXX HD, today, and a new commercial (video follows).

In the video, the Droid RAZR MAXX HD controls a huge video sound system on the wall, then a game(Capcom's Lost Planet 2) makes the wall explode of what looks like a some kind of adobe castle dwelling.

The tagline is "Droid powers through where others fail. Now more than ever DROID DOES."

Yesterday, we compared the some of the early reviews of the Droid RAZR HD/MAXX with the iPhone 5.  We will keep you posted with a new full review soon.

Does this commercial seem real to you.  Does it make you want to buy the DROID RAZR HD/MAXX? Please post your comments below.

Features of the Droid RAZR HD and MAXX include 1.5GHz dual core processor, 2530mAh/3300mAh battery, HDMI, DLNA, NFC,  Android 4.1 ICS, Bluetooth, 8MP camera, front camera, 1080p video capture 1GB RAM,  microSD card, aGPS, 4G LTE access and Wi-Fi.  A video from Motorola claims that the Droid RAZR M/HD/Maxx will melt your brain.

There's no way that a Droid RAZR MAXX HD can blow up a wall.

I like the Samsung Galaxy S III better, the claims aren't so crazy.

The video is not as good as the original Droid ads.

I'm waiting to find out what the next Nexus will be, first. This looks good, but Moto has get on the ball and update its devices sooner.

Why do they also have such cute dudes in this ads. Don't they think women will ever buy one of Droid RAZR HDs?

I just returned my i-phone 5 yes 5 back yesterday as I opted to try it. I had a Motorola RAZR MAXX prior and I made it 2 days before returning to Verizon and looking for something else. I was lucky enough that the RAZR MAXX HD just came out that day. I have now been using it and I couldn't be happier. This phone is leaps and bounds ahead of the i-phone 5 and is way more flexible in its use. I can tell that this phone operates much quicker than my old RAZR and the interface is much better. One of the main reasons I didn't want to keep the i-phone was you STILL can't talk and surf at the same time on the Verizon network as you can with many of today's Android units. Come on APPLE get with it already. Well there is my 2 cents on this phone!
