Samsung Galaxy S 4 News: Eyes Mouse, Pauses, Impacts Kids & Specs

Jeremey Samsung Galaxy S 4More rumors are mounting to the great reveal of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 in Times Square on March 14. 

The Samsung marketing machine released a new teaser video and Trademark filings reveal some interesting Samsung posssiblities.

The New York Times claims from an "insider tip from a Samsung employee off the record" that Samsung will take the "Smart Stay" function in its sights to improve it with eye scrolling.  As the viewer looks down the screen the page will scroll with the eye movement.

This kind of scrolling will make software more important on the smartphone than the hardware. Samsung filed a trademark for  for the name "Samsung Eye Scroll" in the United States in February.

Samsung also filed a trademark for "Eye Pause" without a description.

Going through the Trademark names for Samsung offers a wealth of possible software additions to the Samsung

  • Samsung Eye Scroll - computer application software having a feature of sensing eye movements and scrolling displays of mobile devices, namely, mobile phones, smart phones and tablet computers according to eye movements; digital cameras; mobile telephones; smart phones; tablet computers 2/5/2013.
  • Samsung Nosto - covers so many things it's hard to tell what it is with software and almost every kind of mobile device. 2/19/2013
  • Samsung Roz - a similar description that covers all devices and software mobile. 2/15/2013
  • Samsung Proxia - device for docking with software 2/8/2013.
  • Galaxy S Mate - accessory or device. 2/1/2013
  • Galaxy Mixion - software application. 1/31/2013
  • Galaxy S Impact - accessory or device, 2/1/2013

Finally, if that doesn't get you cooking, Samsung on February 6, trademarked Samsung Smart Oven, maybe your roast will send a text message to your Samsung Galaxy S 4 that says "Medium rare now, medium in ten minutes." Better yet using AllShare it will send you a live video of meet cooking on your smartphone, tablet and smart TV.

In the meantime, many Suspect that the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 will have star power, more power, full HD screen and special software.

The S4 may end the use of Roman Numerals on Samsung S series smartphones.

In the teaser video released by Samsung, today, Jeremy Maxwell is driven by a chauffeur to the boardroom and is give a sneak peak of what is going to be unpacked.  He promises not tell any one anything and "will be continued."

Since Samsung is using kids, we suspect some kind of special "kid software' like the Kindler Fire's Free Time that offers parental controls, special kids software and media.

  1. Samsung has been marketing to minorities, but if it will keep the kids happy, they'll sell even more.

    The NoVa meant no-go in Spanish.
