Microsoft is promoting the Nokia Lumia by a price reduction of $100 via AT&T and Microsoft stores.In Microsoft stores, you can get a free Nokia camera grip ($74 value) while supplies last. Yes, that's the same price as the iPhone 5S with a contract.
Microsoft claimed when the 1020 was launched that by nearly every metric, the Lumia 1020 takes better pictures than any other phone on the market. The new features of the iPhone 5S only surpass the Lumia 1020 in regards to the dual-colored flash. The Lumia 1020, however has been shown to take incredible photos and video. The iPhone 5S appears to be geared toward more amateur photographers.
The Nokia Lumia 925 is also available for preorder, now from AT&T for $99.99 with a contract. It features a 8.7MP PureView camera and dual LED flash. The official release date for the Lumia 925 on AT&T is Friday, September 13.The AT&T website shows the Lumia 925 shipping in 5-7 business days.
