InnerWireless, Inc. announced that Childrens Hospital Los Angeles will deploy Horizon in its existing facility and its new 317-bed hospital scheduled to open in 2010.
With Horizon, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles will have whole-house clinical mobility including the ability to wirelessly deliver voice, data and location services such as telemetry, WiFi, cellular/PCS and real-time asset tracking.

Verizon is now offering a plan that allows unlimited calling between customers’ home phones and their Verizon wireless phones, 200 wireless minutes, unlimited landline calls and other features for a $59.99 a month.
It appears that the plan is aimed at young people who don’t have a landline phone and at people who don’t have a cellphone.
