Agito Networks, Inc., announced its RoamAnywhere™ Mobility Router. Agito Networks’ patented RF and location-based technology provides fast, automatic routing between the enterprise Wi-Fi networks and any carrier cellular network.
The company says it can reduce up to 60 percent of cellular expenses, and avoid deployment of costly, carrier-specific equipment to address poor cellular coverage. The router will work with Wi-Fi enabled phones.
Nokia and Avaya announced that the Nokia E-Series phones will have SIP(Session Information Protocol) capabilities allowing them to switch between, cellular calls, and (WLAN) calls, called "Dual Mode."
This Fixed Mobile Convergence solution delivers greater convenience, enhanced functionality, and improved security by giving employees one device for business and personal use, one number call access, and one voicemail message interface.
