Cellular South customers will now be able to browse, buy and download Thumbplay content directly from their handsets or Thumbplay's Web site. Thumbplay offers more than 100,000 pieces of licensed content including music, videos and games that will be available for purchase by Cellular South customers either a la carte or via subscription-based credits.

Gameloft announced an exclusive multi-year, multi-product mobile game licensing agreement with Marvel Entertainment. The collaborations starts in 2009 with mobile games based upon  Spider-Man, as well as a mobile game based upon Iron Man 2.

Glu Mobile will develop and publish a mobile game based on Family Guy, to be aunched in 2009 through Glu's agreement with Fox Mobile Entertainment.

Family Guy is the hit animated series from Executive Producer/Creator Seth MacFarlane. The show airs weekly during primetime on FOX, and is syndicated on TBS and Adult Swim. Family Guy is currently in its seventh season.


Mobile game website Thumbthug.com and mobile ad network Greystripe have partnered with Hands-On Mobile to deliver new titles from Hands-On Mobile Games for free.

The mobile games included in the partnership are big mobile game titles like "Call of Duty 2," "True Crime: Streets of LA," "LEGO Bricks" and more. Through thumbthug.com's mobile gaming website and with Greystripe's ad network, mobile games and applications are provided for free to mobile gamers and supported by advertisements. This deal also involves a revenue-split, where Hands-On receives monetiziation for the provision of its games through thumbthug.com's partnership with Greystripe's ad and mobile game distribution network.

The Zeemote SDK will allow BlackBerry developers to create mobile games that are compatible with Zeemote JS1 Controller, a wireless, analog joystick for mobile phones that connects via Bluetooth.

The new Zeemote SDK for BlackBerry smartphones includes a set of standards, simple testing procedures and support that make it easier for developers to bring games to market that function with the JS1 Controller. This initiative builds on the successful Zeemote Ready(TM) developer program, a design protocol that ensures an exciting and consistent consumer experience with the JS1 Controller.

Konami Digital Entertainment has partnered with Sprint. Sprint customers can now access Contra 4, and will soon be able to download other Konami titles including top mobile games Frogger, Castlevania, and Metal Gear Classic.

Sprint customers can purchase and download these games by opening the web on enabled Sprint phones, selecting Downloads and selecting Games, or through Konami Mobile's Web site (www.konamimobile.com). Standard data charges will apply for game downloads.

SkyZone and Universal have teamed to create mobile versions of Animal House and Tic-Tac-Dough.

Animal House is scheduled to be available on most major North American carriers in Q4, 2008, Tic-Tac-Dough is slated for release in Q1, 2009.

In Animal House Dean Wormer is trying to to shut down the Delta House and players join Bluto, Otter, Boon and the rest of the men of Delta to help throw outrageous parties and keep Wormer from closing the house for good.

Real will begin rolling out the game this fall, first for the mobile phone.

Produced by FremantleMedia North America and hosted by Regis Philbin, MILLION DOLLAR PASSWORD premiered June 1st on CBS as the highest-rated new entertainment program on the network this season. The new primetime version of the classic game show garnered an average 10.6 million viewers each week and was rcently renewed for Fall 2008.
