The BlackBerry Curve 8520 (black or frost) is for people who like to be connected to email, messaging (IM, SMS, MMS) and popular social networking sites (including Facebook and MySpace) and features a  full-QWERTY keyboard. Multimedia features include music, games and other mobile apps for entertainment on the go.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone is a world phone, and is also Wi-Fi for web browsing and Wi-Fi calling. The acquisition expands Motricity's customer base to include 11 of the top 13 carriers in North America including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, Bell Mobility, Tracfone and Alltel.
