Today, the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 went on sale, according to some reports, models appear to be sold-out, while others are saying through a web glitch if you keep refreshing your browser screen, you can buy Nexus models.
Some people have stated that if you keep pressing F5 in Chrome you will be able to buy either the Nexus 4 16GB or 32GB models.
The Nexus order screen states that you will not charged until your order is shipped. Some customers have reported that show credit charges for Nexus purchases on credit card.
Orderers are receiving confirmation that they will receive their Nexus 4 in 3-5 days. After trying for hours some reported that they are finally able to buy the Nexus 4. It has also been reported that you should make sure that you logged into Google Wallet if you plan to use that method of payment.
Some Nexus devices are sold-out in some territories:
"There’s been so much interest for the Nexus lineup that we’ve sold out of some of our initial stock in a few countries! We are working hard to add more Nexus devices to Google Play in the coming weeks to keep up with the high demand." noted the Google + account of Nexus.
We checked Walmart online and the company still has the Nexus 7 16GB ($199)model for $199 as well as the 32GB ($249)model available for free store pick up from Walmart. when the Nexus 10 tablet was announced, it was stated that Walmart stores would carry the Nexus 10 32GB tablet, it has not appeared, yet at the Walmart website. You can check there is a few days.
There are reports that the Nexus 10 has been seen in Walmart stores therefore it maybe worth calling your local Walmart store to find out when it will be in stock.
If are concerned that you will not get a Nexus in time for the holidays, you have well over a month to get one. When all else fails there is always order it and give a copy of the order.
Also the unlocked version of the Nexus 4 is available at a reduced price with a contract through T-Mobile.
