Over the holidays if you purchased a Verizon Wireless product for a gift or got one as gift Verizon has updated their holiday return policy extending it until January 15 and matching lower prices if it lowered the price if you bought the item from Thanksgiving Thursday/Black Friday through Christmas.
Verizon Wireless device and accessory purchases made between 11/28/13 and 12/25/13 may be returned or exchanged through 1/15/14.
If you purchase a device or accessory from Verizon Wireless between 11/28/13 and 12/25/13 and Verizon offers it at a lower price, Verizon will match the lower price through 1/15/14.
Depending on how you purchased your device or accessory, contact Verizon Wireless as you see the price difference in one of the following ways:
- If you purchased online at VerizonWireless.com and Verizon offers a lower price online, call 800-922-0204.
- If you purchased in Verizon Wireless store and the store is now offering a lower price, return the item to the store.
- If you purchased from Verizon Wireless over the phone and we offer a lower advertised price, call 800-922-0204.
Verizon still maintains its restocking fee. A restocking fee of $35 ($70 for netbooks and tablets) applies to any return or exchange of a wireless device (excluding Hawaii).
Wirefly and online retailers often have similar low-price guarantees. Best Buy over the holidays was offering a low-price guarantee, also.
