The iPhone 6 is expected sometime this year and there are more rumors about the next incarnation of the iPhone the iPhone 6 or called the iPhone Air. There is also new information about the iPhone 5c 8GB.
In China, Apple's iPhone-maker, Pengatron is opening a new factory and and recruiting workers according to Chinese news source Commercial Times. Foxconn is also expected to make the iPhone 6.
If you would like know more about the weather aspects of the iPhone 6, ESM-China analyst Sun Changxu reported that the iPhone 6 could have its own barometer, temperature and humity sensors.. Weather sensors were embedded in the Samsung Galaxy S 4 that launched last year.
The Skinny on the iPhone 6 Screen Res
There are new reports that the iPhone 6 will be .22" think and have an Ultra-Retina 389 pixels per inch screen.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 5c with 8GB of storage was released in Germany, suggesting that other countries will have cheaper iPhone 5c alternative. The 8GB iPhone 5c sill be sold in the U.K., France, Germany, Australia and China. The smaller storage reduces the price from the 16GB model by about $67.
The release of the iPhone 6 could be delayed due to Apple lowering the price of the iPhone 5c as it tries to sell remaining stock piles.
Release Dates and Announcements of the iPhone 6
iOS 8 which will be the operating system which may be announced the WWDC in June of this year. The iPhone will most likely be announced in September for an October release date.
Last week, rumors concerning the iPhone Air included:

- A8 faster processor.
- Screen size could be 4.7" or 5" with would prompt many to upgrade.
- The larger screen iPhone 6 could sell for $299 or $549-929 without a contract.
- The iPhone 6 will have the same type screen as solar cells, make of strong almost unbreakable sapphires. There is a new GT Advanced factory in Arizona with new furnaces installed.
- A curved screen.
- A holographic screen could enlarge the screen by projecting it larger.
- 10MP camera.
- Water and dust persistent. Since the iPhone 6's greatest competitor the Samsung Galaxy S5 has iP67 water and dust resistant and many iPhones have destroyed by water damage water proofing would be another feature for people to upgrade.
- The iPhone 6 could account for 68% of Apple's profits.
- The shell/case could be colorful and aluminum like the iPod nano.
