Verizon Wireless announced that the LG Cosmos 2 is available online and will be in stores beginning July 14 for $29.99.
The first LG Cosmos was the most popular feature phone on the Verizon network.
The LG Cosmos 2 is designed for texting and sharing via its QWERTY
keyboard. It also features access to mobile web, Facebook, MySpace and
Twitter.
The LG Cosmos 2 features a 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth, document viewer, microSD slot and music player.
There's a new mobile email app to send and receive text and picture attachments and search through your mail and work contacts. Text messages can be sent to groups. There is call and messaging restrictions and voice dialing.
LG Cosmos 2 customers will be able to
try the Mobile Email app for ten uses at no additional charge. Customers
will be given the option to subscribe to mobile email for $5 monthly access after the tenth use.
