Samsung galaxy S 4G.JPGT-Mobile has finally confirmed the release date and pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S 4G.  The new Samsung Galaxy S 4G phone that replaces the Samsung Vibrant will cost $149.99 and have the added benefit of 4G data access on the T-Mobile network.

This will be one day before the release of the other 4G LTE handset from Verizon, the HTC ThunderBolt.

T-Mobile claims that the Samsung Galaxy S 4G is the fastest smartphone, running with theoretical peak download speeds of up to 21 Mbps.  It comes preloaded with the movie Inception.  The Samsung Galaxy S 4G features HD TV with Samsung Media Hub and video chat with Qik.
Specs of the Samsung Galaxy S 4G include Android 2.2 Froyo, a
front-facing camera, 4-inch
Super AMOLED touchscreen, 1GHz processor, 16GB memory onboard, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, and a 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording.  At Mobile
World Congress, Samsung announced the latest Samsung Galaxy S phone, the Samsung Galaxy S II.

T-Mobile claims that Samsung Galaxy S 4G will
be affordable with 4G data plans from $10 per month for a
"limited-time."  The $10 a month plan includes 200MB of data to use for
web browsing, email, downloading apps and viewing videos.  The amount
of video you view will be really limited.  You can benefit by the plan
if you only use data for email.  For example, if you send/receive 100
email messages a day, that will put you at 193MB a month.

Samsung Galaxy S smartphones in the U.S. currently include the Samsung Epic 4G, Samsung Fascinate, Samsung Captivate and Samsung Vibrant.
