Nokia Video Center Links to News/Video Sources

nokian95.jpgAccording to the Hollywood Reporter, Nokia is embedding links directly to video sources in its N95 multimedia phone, side stepping the carriers. Deals were struck with CNN, News Corp and Sony Pictures.

Nokia will be embedding direct video links to other phones in future.  It may mark a trend of content providers connecting with consumers through phone makers rather than mobile carriers.
