John Girard at Gartner predicts ID theft and phishing attempts targeting mobile devices will become more and more prevalent throughout next year

Girard who spoke at the IT Security Summit in London on Monday reccomended:

• Encryption of data on devices
  
• Proper identity and access controls
  
• Intrusion prevention systems to prevent rogue devices from accessing sensitive information
