Novatel Wireless has completed a technology
transfer with Qualcomm Incorporated of two Qualcomm Wearable Mobile
Device module designs.
This new technolgoy could mean faster smaller devices like Novatel's MiFi USB portable Wi-Fi network Or small USB devices that connect the web and networks for consumers electronics.
The Qualcomm Wearable Mobile Device supports integrated GPS, accelerometer, 3G and
Bluetooth technologies. With data and voice support for 1X and 1X EV-DO
Rev. A networks, a standardized USB 2.0 interface and defined APIs and
development kit, provide functionality and
streamlined 3G connectivity for M2M and CE devices.
