Samsung introduced at CTIA the Samsung Galaxy S (Model: GT-I9000), an Android-powered smarphone with a  4-inch Super AMOLED screen, 1 GHz  processor, ready for HD video.  The Samsung Glaxay S has a ‘Social Hub’  and lots of multimedia ready for Layar’s augmented reallity. It comes loaded with Android 2.1 which brings with it pinch-to-zoom browsing, speech-to-text form filling and Goggle map syncing.

At first glance this Android smartphone has many of the same features as the Nexus One and the forthcoming HTC Incredible, except the screen is larger measuring 4” inches and camera is 5.0 megapixeles matching the Nexus One, but less than the HTC Indredible.

The Galaxy S’s large 4-inch Super AMOLED display has less reflection, free viewing angles and super-fast touch-response. The mDNIe (mobile Digital Natural Image engine) - a technology used in

  Samsung's best-selling LCD and LED TVs - boosts an even sharper

and crisper viewing experience for photos, videos, and e-books. They claim it is a perfect environment to record, edit and play HD video, to browse the Internet, and to read your favorite e-books.
