iPad News 2Day: AT&T $29.99 Unlimited 3G Data Totally Unlimited No Caps

iPadwithhandsaroundit.jpgGearlog's Sascha Segan spoke with  at AT&T's Mark Siegel who confirmed "unlimited is unlimited," there will be no soft caps or warnings for iPad users who pay for the AT&T $29.99 unlimited data plan.

Siegel noted that he expects iPad users to spend a lot of time in Wi-Fi hotspots (AT&T's own hotspots are free.) He told Seagan that the crazy outliers who stream data all the time won't be penalized.


Previously streaming videos from Sling players have put other data users in major debt for not reading the fine print for data plans that max out after so many megabytes. Bills have been as high as $28000 and have generated lawsuits.

Today there have been a lot of iPad news stories, the iPad topped Android for Boingo Wi-Fi use, there have been over 524,000 sold, cost $260 to make, music iPad apps are really popular, Wi-Fi issues have been reported.
