Windows Phone 7 Beats the Heat, Android G2 Charbroils Fastest and iPhone 4 Sizzles 2nd

Some people will do anything to get views on YouTube; in fact they will destroy the things smartphone-aholics covet the most to test a $10 portable barbecue grill.

EZ Grill, instead of grilling a $10 steak, grilled an iPhone 4 ($731), Windows Phone 7 HTC Surround  ($549) and Android T-Mobile G2 ($599 ) in an unscientific burn-out to see which phone melted last.

Turning your smartphone into Joan of Arc is not recommended.

When you watch the video, you will notice that the smartphones burn faster on the outer edges.  Our grill-ologists analyzed the grill and thought that the higher heat was on the outer edges of the grill when it first sizzled.

And the winner of the grill-out for withstanding the heat the longest is the Windows Phone  HTC Souround, which didn't get as good reviews as the iPhone 4 or T-Mobile G2 but did last longest in the hotseat and became toast last.

What does it all mean?  If you are planning to walk on coals with a smartphone in your pocket, take your Windows Phone 7 HTC Surround.  Windows Phone 7 HTC Surround may be the better choice for fire eaters and firefighters.

For those who grill phones, if you were to buy a phone with contract through online retailers, such as Amazon Wireless Beta, you could get the HTC Surround for one cent, but after the flame broil, you'll be stuck with a two-year contract with no phone.

Please
be advised that smartphones contain toxic chemicals that when burned
can be dangerous and poisonous.  The video posted on 11/12 has been seen
