Droid 3 News: More Droid 3 Specs Revealed - Release Date Speculated

MotorolaMilestone3.JPGMore information is leaking about the Motorola Droid 3.  A Chinese website has leaked photos and specs of the forthcoming Droid 3 (Motorola Milestone) from Verizon Wireless.

It has been revealed from several photos and translations that the Motorola Droid 3 features include a 4-inch qHD touchscreen, an 8 megapixel camera, a front-facing camera, Android 2.3.3 MotoBlur, 1080p video recording, HDMI out, SIM for world roaming and a 1500mAh battery.  Previous leaks showed 4" 960 x 540 qHD touchscreen and the absence of a a dedicated camera button.

Gameloft added the Motorola XT862 Droid 3 to their list of compatible smartphones.
Based on previous models, we believe that the Motorola Droid 3 specs will also include
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a microSD card slot.  It has also been suggested that the Motorola Droid 3 will have a dual-core processor.

The speculated release date for this Droid 3 is July 7, which we
think is a little early based on last year's release date of the Droid 2 that was
August 12.  Verizon has been releasing new models of previous Droid
smartphones at approximately one year after the release of the original
smartphone.
