Verizon 4G LTE 1 Year B'Day: Moto XOOM (CPO) $199, Free Droid RAZR & Samsung Galaxy Tab COHOHO Promos

CohohoOne year ago, today, Verizon launched its 4G LTE network and it has been a great ride for users and reporters.  To celebrate the Holidays there are some great promotions going on.

Verizon Wireless is giving away free Droid RAZR smartphones via Verizon Insider. To enter you fill out a form and then share the message on Facebook or Twitter.  Verizon says "Think of this as caroling in the social era, only now you can win big." Has tag the Tweet with  "30DayofRAZR" to win you have to be a legal resident of certain states.

There is also the COHOHO 12 Days of Holiday GiveAWAy where you can win a Droid RAZR or Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 that ends December 16.

Verizon has part of its CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) sale today is offering the Motorola Xoom CPO for $199 with a contract.Verizon Wireless 4G LTE  has consistently maintained the fastest speeds for data and also the longest delays for devices that work with the network.  The most recent long-wait has been for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, super Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone.

The HTC Thunderbolt was delayed for months but then graced the network as the first 4G LTE smartphone with many great features but "battery issues.  The HTC Rezound was not delayed and comes with special enhanced Beats audio by Dr. Dre.

The Motorola Droid Bionic was announced in January 2011 at CES and didn't come until September.  Motorola learned how to make their devices work with the network and then introduced the super-thin Droid RAZR without a delay.  It took months for the Motorola Xoom tablet to the be upgraded to 4G LTE and the new Motorola Droid Xyboard is due out sometime this month.

To celebrate through the holidays Verizon has launched a double the 4G LTE data for the price "deal."
