A new class action lawsuit is telling Apple to cease and desist misleading advertising that shows Siri as responsive and user-friendly.
Apple’s television advertisements show people using Siri to make appointments, find restaurants, and learn the guitar chords or how to tie a tie.
The suit claims that the ads make shoppers buy the iPhone 4S over other smartphones for the Siri feature and then Siri doesn't put-out like she does on TV.
The case also claims that th iPhone 4S is more expensive than other iPhone models and the Siri features doesn't perform as advertised.
Whoops any guitar player will tell Siri can't teach you how to play guitar. Siri searches the web for answers and then sends askers to webpages where you can't learn how to play.
Siri is unresponsive and doesn't understand what's being asked of her.
The plaintiff in the case kept asking Siri directions and she gave him the wrong answers.
Meanwhile, Siri is still wed to the iPhone 4S only. Her voice dictation will be on the new iPad but not her question answering.
