ricket Wireless is offering the BlackBerry Curve 9350 before the release of the iPhone 4/4S for $199.99.
The Cricket website that shows a web only discount of $70 off making it $129.99. However, the data shown for the $55 plan shows unlimited data backup and 3G mobile data at 1GB which is the limit before data is throttled to slower speed. An added benefit, in case of a disaster, the he BlackBerry Curve 9350 has CMAS that with important government weather and disaster alerts.
On Friday, June 22, Cricket Wireless will offer iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 with its $55 per-month, unlimited talk, text and data plan.
The unlimited data however is given a fair-usage policy of 2.3GB month which means after you use up the data, the data access will be throttled.
iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 will be available in Cricket company-owned stores and select dealers in nearly 60 markets.

Leap Wireless announced that Cricket's first 4G LTE market will be Tucson Arizona and the first 4G LTE device will be the Huawei Boltz.
The data plans will be tiered not according to data use but speed. The faster plan (up to 6Mbps) will cost $60.00 a month for 5GB of data. The slower plan (up to 3Mbps) will cost $50.00 a month for 5GB of data.
At launch, 4G LTE service will be accessible via mobile broadband services and the Cricket's first 4G LTE device, the Huawei Boltz (E 397) modem priced at $149.99 MSRP in Cricket's company-owned stores.
Huawei Mercury Android smartphone will be orbiting Cricket for $249.99. This smartphone in other places is known as the Huawei Honor.
