Finally, Verizon Wireless has spoken the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Nexus will go on sale tomorrow/tonight 12/15. Verizon Wireless Tweeted the news earlier today.  The Verizon website showed off a simulator to try out the Nexus.

We contacted Verizon spokeswoman Brenda Raney who confirmed the price of $299.99 and release time of 1:00 AM EST (10:00 PM PST).

So how can you get a Samsung Galaxy Nexus?

Galaxy Nexus TestSo far, Americans haven't gotten the taste of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich while the rest of the world can buy the Samsung Galaxy Nexus we are still waiting to savor the new flavor of Android which should be coming soon.  Let's review all the news around Android 4.0 in the Samsung Galaxy which is being tested, documented, videoed, updated, filed and reviewed.

First off, it's good to know that Google employees are testing Android 4.0 on the Samsung Nexus S that hopefully will clear up any glitches before it is delivered to the public.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Verizon version) can be seen without a SIM card connected to the Verizon network in the Samsung Experience store in New York City.   It's hard to test network speeds but Android 4.0.1 was working fine.  The Engadget team couldn't put in SIM because the alarm rang when he tried to open the back cover.

Once again Best Buy showed a little too much, too soon, in the Circular section there is the Verizon Samsung  Nexus Prime 4G LTE for $299.99 from November 27- December 31.   Of course, today is November 27 and that sale date did not come today.  The name of the phone has been changed to Samsung Galaxy Nexus, therefore we can assume that the description was from an earlier date and auto-scheduled to run today.   Everyone now is sure that yes the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been delayed.

Samsung galaxy NexusThe Samsung Galaxy Nexus with its spanking brand new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS may be delayed until after the Thanksgiving leftovers are all eaten, according some reports and speculation.

There was a Costco screenshot that showed up,  that showed a price of $289.99 leading many to believe that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus would be priced around $299 like its Android cousins on the Verizon network.  There was also a screenshot that showed the the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (w/0 11/21)  W/0 means web only, which could mean preorders on the web starting November 21.  Previously a leak suggested a November 17 release date and another showed Cyber Monday.
