Verizon Wireless announced that by Thanksgiving in time for black Friday it will start offering two new Windows 8 Phones, the 8X by HTC and Nokia Lumia 822. Previously, the only Windows Phone on the Verizon network was the HTC Trophy.
Windows Phones are being marketed on the Verizon network, differently than Android phones. In its announcement, Verizon did not reveal the specs, processors or screen sizes of any of them. Instead, Verizon showed off the operating systems and colors. Contrary to the bright neon colors of most Windows Phones, their Windows phones will come in the iconic red, black, white or grey.
