The reviewers favor the 8310 for GPS and the 8320 for Wi-Fi access.

The place where these devices shine is in email and text functions.  The preloaded software functions well and if you opt for a GPS model, you will never get lost. Mark Spoonauer at Laptop Magazine wrote that the BlackBerry Curve “rocks” because it is designed just right with a music player, stereo Bluetooth, a sharp 2 megapixel camera, a full size backlit keyboard, easy file transfer and killer email apps making it a well-rounded smartphone rated 4 out of 5.

Jamie Lendino at PCMag.com rated the BlackBerry Curve 8310 from AT&T 4 out of 5. Although this model doesn’t have WiFi, it has GPS with TeleNav maps built in. It’s the same size and shape as the 8300 but comes in two new colors grey and red. The displays adjusts for brightness, the trackball, camera and stereo Bluetooth work well. Email functions were “sublime.”

Bonnie Cha at CNET in reviewing the BlackBerry Curve 8320 called it the “best-of-breed” design because of the Wi-Fi and excellent performance rating 8.3/10.  The camera and keyboard are lauded while the microSD slot is behind the battery and hard to get to. The T-Mobile Hotspot access preloaded software and spellchecker are useful.
