HTC to Reveal QWERTY Smartphone at CTIA

DigiTimes reports that HTC is likely to premier its new
QWERTY smartphone, the HTC Maple, at CTIA Wireless 2in Las Vegas  according to a
Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.

HTC appears to be talking to US service operators for j
marketing of the BlackBerry-like HTC Maple. The HTC Maple is expected to have a 2 megapixel camera, and 2.4-inch display.

It has been reported the Windows Mobile-based HTC Maple
is like the Samsung's BlackJack and Motorola's Q-series handsets. The
market for such smartphones in the US totals about three million units
a year, the newspaper reported.
