
CNN reported earlier this month that Windows Mobile users have been since the first of the year, have been getting text messages from the future, the year 2016.
"Microsoft is aware of reports that phone messages received after
1/1/2010 may be dated 2016," Microsoft said in a statement.
"These reports have not yet resulted in widespread customer inquiries;
however, we are working closely with our manufacturing and
mobile-operator partners to investigate the cause and correct the
issue, as appropriate."

On January 14, HTC released fixes for the bug for Sprint Windows Mobile Phones the hotfix for the
Touch Pro2 fix can be downloaded

here. It only fixes incoming text messages.
