Verizon  announced that Motorola DEVOUR is available online and in stores for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

The Motorola DEVOUR is the second Android-powered smartphone from Motorola to run on Verizon Wireless’ 3G network. The Motorola Devour received good reviews and is liked for its QWERTY keyboard, strong aluminum case, and MOTOBLUR social networking all-in-one updates and email gathering. The Devour will be updated to Android 2.1.

MOTOBLUR also allows users to track via GPS a stolen Devour and keeps a backup of data.

Videos from Motorola show the Motorola Phone Portal that allows users to view phone contents from a computer. Other features of the Motorola Devour are a 3.1-inch, 320-by-480 pixel touchscreen, 3 megapixel camera, touchpad, Wi-Fi, GPS and pre-installed 8 Gigbyte microSD card. We checked on the Verizon   website and it looks like the Devour qualifies for the buy one get up to three select phones for free deal.

Don't forget you can avoid waiting for a rebate when you use the Wireless and Mobile News' online coupon-link Instant Phone Rebate Only Available with Online Purchase.

Wirefly is currently offering the Motorola Devour for free or new Verizon customers with a contract.
