Samsung Galaxy Nexus ICS for Sprint 4/15 Release Date?

Samsung Galaxy NexusLeaked information from reported the Sprint product development division suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be released on April 15  on a Sunday.

The 4G LTE enabled Samsung Galaxy Nexus will not ship with 4G LTE enabled, by default it will connect to 3G.  At launch Sprint is only expected to have 200 LTE cell sites live.  The auto 4G LTE mode is likely to be enabled via an Over-the-Air update.

April 15 along with Tax day is also the day when many  EVO 4G owners will be eligible for an update.

Features of the Galaxy Nexus LTE  include a 4.65" Super AMOLED touchscreen, 16GB internal storage, front-facing camera, 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth , dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 32 GB storage onboard, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) NFC, Google Wallet and 4G LTE access in LTE markets. Access to Sprint 4G LTE markets(limited to 10 markets by 2012 starting off in major metros in Texas).

Ice Cream Sandwich features  Face Unlock, which uses facial recognition to unlock your phone. Using NFC (Near Field Communications) technology, Android Beam allows users to quickly share web pages, apps and YouTube videos with friends by tapping phones together. Google+ Hangouts allow video chat with up to 10 friends.
