There is a new video from behind the scenes of the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremonies with film director Martin Green, Head of Ceremonies.
Green of course uses a Samsung Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note preparing for the opening ceremony. Jack Ludwig and Sofia Mir, volunteer dancers use the Galaxy Note in the opening ceremonies and for finding maps and information. There were 100 Samsung Galaxy Notes used in the choreography.

Samsung Galaxy S III users in the UK recently received an update that removed universal search by accident in XXBLG6. Samsung informed TechRadar "The most recent software upgrade for the Galaxy S III in the UK included the inadvertent removal of the universal search function. Samsung will provide the correct software upgrade within the next few days."
Olympic athletes who receive their free Samsung Galaxy S III may or may not have lost the universal search feature depending on what version they have and if they installed the update.
