The speed at which the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was announced and became available for preorder took place within a few days. Orchestrated, by Samsung, no doubt so that Samsung would be in the spotlight for at least a few days before the next iPhone is announced.
As of last night, all we knew was that the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 would start preorders today.
If you want to preorder the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or Gear, you can starting at 9:o0am EST, today. According to a news release, we just received from Samsung PR reps the Galaxy Note 3 will be available it he U.S. in October as well as the Galaxy Gear.
The Galaxy Note has wider (5.7inch) full HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, 3,200mAh battery, 13 MP camera, 3GB RAM with a new soft-textured back covers in black, white, pink or wild orange. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, and running Android 4.3.
Not to miss out on the the colorful rainbow options of the Moto X and iPhone 5c, Samsung will also offer exchangeable back covers in dozens of additional colors.
Samsung announced the smartwatch smart device the Samsung Galaxy Gear, today in Berlin. 
Some are saying the only reason the Samsung Galaxy Gear was released was to beat Apple to the wrist punch. Most who have seen the Gear are apprehensive or don't get it. A few see some potential.
The Gear which costs $299 is a supplemental device to a Samsung smartphone so that you don't have to take them out or look at them for notifications. It will also make voice-activated phone calls. It can find your phone/tablet, by activating sound in the missing device. It uses Bluetooth to connect to the primary device. Currently, it only works with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and 10.1. Updates to the Galaxy S III and 4 are expected to be out in October.
The Korea Times has confirmed that Samsung will reveal the Galaxy Gear and Samsung Galaxy Note III at IF on September 4. Another Korea media outlet reported that Note III will have a very high resolution HD camera.
Samsung's Lee Young-hee Executive Vice President of Samsung Mobile reported that the Samsung smart watch will premier on September 4 at the Unpacked event as well as the Samsung Galaxy Note III.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega is a bigger phablet with specs that are not as spectacular as the Samsung Galaxy S4, however pricing at start will below other Galaxy S 4 models and the Mega has many of the software features. The first U.S. carrier to announce the SG Mega is AT&T where it goes on sale today. It will also be sold by Sprint and U.S. Cellular. It is one of the largest phablets on the market.
